Session Schedule
At 123 Soleil there are lots of toys and a toy box for babies. We
organise a new activity at each session and older children are encouraged to take part in the structured art and
craft activities. There is the library to browse in and lots of time to run and play. 123 Soleil is a very friendly environment.
This year Claire has prepared great activities and at each session she tells us
about upcoming activities…
Example of a session:
- At 10.00am: singing, stories and games with everybody.
- At 10.45am: snack time.
- From 11.00am: free play and manual activities (playdoh, sticking,
drawing, painting…). The children are free to pick what they
want to do.
Snack Time Volunteers
For each session we need two volunteers to prepare and set up snack time.
- The volunteers
bring some fruit (apples, banana, melon, raisins and/or seasonal
fruit). They check the stock of tea, coffee and sugar for
parents situated in the cupboard reserved for 123 Soleil. The money is then claimed with the receipt from
the treasurer.
- Set up the
tables and chairs, wash and prepare the fruit (this can also be done at home before the session), arrange the fruit in bowls, and get tea and coffee ready. You can find coffee and teabags in 123 Soleil’s
boxes.
- At 10.45am tell parents and children that it is snack time.
- From 11.00am tidy up: store away tables and chairs. Washing up is done by George, thank you !
- Help to set up activities/singing time: before the start of the session help those in charge of the activity to set up the tables and chairs, then help them tidy up at the end.
- End of session: before you leave make sure that everything is clean and tidy.
If you are unable to come as a volunteer please find someone to replace you
and /or inform a member of the Committee.
Thank you.
