The library

French books and magazines can be borrowed from the 123 Soleil library. Magazines include Papoum, Popi, Pomme d'api, les mille et une histoires, etc. Books about classical themes such as animals, birth, learning to count..., celebrations (Xmas, Easter...) are also available.

Opening

The library is open every Monday during the sessions from 19.99h to 12.00h, but preferably books are borrowed during the second hour of free play. The library is only open during term time.

The membership fees

The membership fees are

  • included in the price of the session (£2.50) if you come occasionally.
  • included in the term fee for members of 123 Soleil who come on a regular basis(i.e £18 for one child, £20 for two or more children).
  • to be discussed for schools or clubs who would like to borrow from the libary (please get in touch biblio@123soleilcambridge.org.uk).

Borrowing books

You can borrow up to 4 books for a period of 3 weeks. The items can be renewed either personally at the session or by e-mail (biblio@123soleilcambridge.org.uk).

Lost or Damaged Book

Each lost or damaged book has to be replaced, or reimbursed at the price it was bought for, by the borrower.

Overdue

There will be a 50p fine for each week overdue (whatever the number of books borrowed) unless the family could not attend the Monday session for unforeseeable reasons.

The library will refuse to loan more books if there are unpaid fines.
